MCWD supports the Cebu City government’s efforts to take care of its homeless citizens amidst the CoVID-19 Pandemic. MCWD delivers water to the Barangay San Nicolas gym, where the street dwellers are temporarily sheltered, in the hopes of helping them avoid the coronavirus that is currently taking our nation by storm. 5,000 liters of water is delivered daily to help these people in their temporary shelter. Portable sinks are also installed to encourage them to constantly wash their hands and to teach them proper hygiene, which remains to be the most effective way to prevent the coronavirus.
